Walking Through History is a three-book series celebrating a selection of currently standing historical architecture in the City of Cambridge’s three original towns: Preston, Hespeler and Galt. Each book features beautiful full page, original monochromatic photography and an accompanying page of detailed information about each building featured. Care is taken to ensure no distractions such as modern cars or signage appear in order to create a pleasing aesthetic and keep the focus on the architecture as it was meant to be viewed. Text content is a combination of sourced and original literature compiled through extensive archival research. Together, Walking Through History tells the architectural story of an industrious city, bringing the local landscape to life within the pages.
